Hi welcome to my blog so this time i would be reviewing real technique Sam and Nic Chapman core collection brush set . I am probably the last one to write about this set of brushes but I would love to share my views on the set .
A little bit about Sam and Nic Chapman they are sisters and professional makeup artist they also have a you tube channel where they have tutorials on how you can use these brushes and they also share the tips and tricks of professional makeup .
CONTOUR BRUSH: This contour brush is round and fluffy it basically helps in blending your contour more effectively with really light pressure you can blend easily good for both powder contouring and cream contouring.
POINTED FOUNDATION BRUSH: This is a foundation brush what i liked about it is, its a flat foundation brush , really sleek and has a slight point , so it helps in applying foundation in all those difficult places of your face like side of the nose , area in between your eyes , side logs where the ear starts . its good for spreading liquid foundation .
DETAILER BRUSH : I found the detailer brush multi purpose , you can do point concealing with the brush , can also use it to apply eyeshadow , can also be used to apply lipstick. its really thin , the brush is thinner than a pencil which makes it easy to hold a grip to it .
BUFFING BRUSH: The buffing brush is the biggest in the kit truly because it is suppose to give a full coverage look while blending the foundation and gives an even coverage . good for mineral foundations , loose powder and powder foundations.
PANORMIC CASE: With the brushes you get a panormic case to hold the brushes and keep them safe . its dual carrier and also turn into a brush stand which is good to display your brushes and keep them organised on your makeup station . it has a Velcro locking system to it .
OVERVIEW: The body of the brushes are really smooth and the color is eye catching . they have given a carbon end to the brushes so that it dosnt slip off while your working with them which a really good combination of style and quality . the bristles are synthetic and are really soft which gives an amazing feel on the skin but also are very effective . you will not find any gaps between the bristles that's the main quality of the brushes . the edges of the bristles are white or i must say grayish in color also adds up to the appearance of the brush and it guides you regarding the product your using with it and my friends the real technique brushes are cruelty so its very good to for the environment too.
